Mary Anne got the Symphony pattern and the fabrics from Purple Bobbin quilt shop in Jackson, MI. These are the first two large blocks she made using the Tucker Trimmer for the QSTs in the corners, the Wing Clipper for the Flying Geese in the chevrons, and the Four Patch Square Up for the center. She then did some of the surrounding blocks. She used the Wing Clipper, the Square Squared and the Non-Mirror Combination Unit Technique Sheet for the Tucker Trimmer. She also used the Four Patch Square Up for the four patches. Next, she did more Non-Mirror Combination Units and some HSTs with her Tucker Trimmer. Then some Lemoyne Stars using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool. She did the other Lemoyne Stars at home, then some Square in a Square using the Square Squared at lesson. Lots more to come yet!

This is Mary Anne's first block as a weekly student. She used the Tucker Trimmer for the HSTs in the corners and the Wing Clipper for the Flying Geese making up the chevrons. Her second block, in the green and blue, used the Four Patch Square Up for the corners, the Corner Pop 1 for the house units, and the Square Squared for the center. Her third block she did twice since the Technique Sheet for Non-Mirror Combination Units makes 4 with the Tucker Trimmer. She made 4 one way and 4 the other. Then she turned them in different directions. Her final block for the bag was a Lemoyne Star. She used the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool. Here is the finished bag.
