An Adventure in Western Ohio
On the morning of Friday, December 8, I drove up to pick up Rebecca. Waving goodbye to Todd in the driveway, we set off toward Ohio. The day before I had done some research online to pick out the shops to stop at. After checking for photos to verify that they were physical shops, I came up with a list of ten. #1 was Freedom Bound Quilt Shop, in Wauseon, which was having a 50% of everything except sewing machines. If you are near NW Ohio, they are doing this all of December, so go! #2, The Quilterie, in Celina, is on Main St. At their recommendation we had lunch across the street at the Anchor and yes, the mushroom swiss burger was very good. #3 on the list was Little House of Stitches, but when Rebecca called to ask a question, she found out they are online only. So on to the next. #4 was Cotton Junky. We headed to Tipp City but didn't arrive in time for the posted 4pm closing. We did find Tippecanoe and Weavers Too where Rebecca got some ...
