Family Quilts

At the Monday guild meeting of Cal-Co Quilt Guild I gave the presentation for Member Spotlight.  I had 27 family quilts to show.  Thanks to my helpers who took pictures, handled the quilts and helped pack my car at the end.

This was given to me by Mama Lindley (Bertha) in 1979.

The quilts following are made by my Mom (Joan) and my MIL (Sue)

My mom provided 14 of the 9-blocks.  My Aunt Phyllis provided the sashing fabrics.

My Mom's last top, Marilyn Garrison did the quilting and I did the binding.

My Mom had 13 of the blocks done.  I did the rest.

Below are two of her bags.
